The grade book is an important tool that will help you keep track of your student's assignments and grades!
*Grades will be updated on a weekly basis.* Any grades missing will be updated by the following week.
Q: How do I check student's grades?

Q: What do I do if I do not master a quiz?
A: You can take a quiz or unit test/checkpoint up to 3 times.

Q: Can I take a quiz more than 3 times?
A: If the student requires additional attempts, he/she must email teacher requesting attempts. These decisions will be made on an individual basis.
Q: What does an "M" mean?
A: M's in the grade book count as zeros
-All OLS grades will automatically update when work is completed
Attendance
Q: How many hours should my student be working each day?
A: A normal instructional week will be a minimum of 4-6 hours.
Q: When there are no class connect sessions, how is attendance logged?
A: Your student must continue to login and complete online curriculum work to be marked present.
Q: Do students have to physically mark themselves for attendance each day or does just logging in for classes count?
A: Students must login each active school day to be marked present and attend all required Class Connect sessions. When students are working on their online curriculum, attendance is automatically marked.

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD ATTEND LIVE CLASS CONNECT SESSIONS
- Located on the STUDENTS daily plan
- Classes are hosted on Newrow
- Attend all REQUIRED Class Connect Sessions
- Class times may change throughout the year due to academic adjustment
- Pay attention to times (and time zones as necessary)
-All sessions are recorded and can be accessed by going to the date of the session you wish to watch, and clicking the name of that session as you would to enter the class. A recording will pop up.

Student Responsibilities
- Attend all live classes
-Check weekly plan for assignment due dates ahead of time
- Ask LC and teacher for help when needed
- Ask teacher for additional quiz attempts if needed
- Take time to go through each lesson and give best effort
Learning Coach Responsibilities
- Monitor student's progress daily
- Create and maintain a work space that neat, organized, and free of distractions
- Provide encouragement for student to give best effort when completing lessons
- Be available for assistance/Set up system for assistance
- Always reach out to teacher for any questions or concerns
-Create an environment that allows your student to focus
-Remind students to take their time if they are moving through a quiz quickly
